How It Works
A "concept café" (kon-kafe) is a Japanese café & bar where costumed staff — called casts — chat with you while you enjoy drinks. Here is all you need to know.
Just walk in — no reservation needed. The cover charge is for 1 hour of seating and includes 1 drink. Feel free to tell the staff it's your first visit.
Choose an all-you-can-drink course (alcohol or soft drinks) and enjoy talking with the casts. They will happily lead the conversation, so don't worry about your Japanese.
If you like, take a cheki (instant photo) with a cast, or buy a drink for your favorite cast. These are completely optional — never required.
About This Café
I's Melty is a unique concept café & bar themed on "cute × dark". Casts dressed in gothic-lolita costumes stage your extraordinary evening in a dreamlike pink-and-black space.
"Jirai-kei" is not scary at all — it is a fashion culture that values delicacy, kindness and caring for others. I's Melty is where you can step into that world.
Alone, with friends, or with someone special — enjoy a heart-fluttering, special time in any scene.
Good To Know
Just drop by. On event days it can get busy, so checking our official X (Twitter) beforehand is recommended.
Most of our guests actually come alone, and women are very welcome — women's prices are lower, too. Friends, couples and groups are all welcome.
We open at 18:00 and close at 5:00 the next morning (irregular holidays — please check our X before visiting).
An all-you-can-drink soft-drink course is available (Men ¥2,000 / Women ¥1,500 per hour).
Come as you are — casual clothes are fine. You can enjoy a short visit starting from 1 hour.
Cheki photos with the casts are available. For other photography inside the café, please ask the staff.
Access
I's Melty is in the Nakayamate-dori area right next to Kobe's main downtown — a 5-minute walk from JR Sannomiya Station and 3 minutes from Hankyu Kobe-Sannomiya Station.
